NEA Portfolio Program

NEA, in conjunction with Marsh USA Inc. and Goodwin Procter, has created a "turn-key" Executive Protection Insurance Program for NEA's portfolio companies. The program is offered by property and casualty insurance companies of the Hartford Financial Services Insurance Group, Inc. and provides state of the art terms and conditions for the following lines of coverage: Directors' and Officers' Liability (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, Crime, and Special Risk (K&R). Click here for a description of the coverages.

The benefits for the NEA portfolio companies who choose to participate in this program are:

  • State of the art coverage terms* – Portfolio company participants will not have to independently negotiate the terms of the policy. NEA, Marsh and Carl Metzger at Goodwin Procter have already done this on your behalf. (The Hartford is not an affiliate of NEA or the Marsh companies.)

  • Individual, stand alone policy – Each portfolio company will have its own dedicated stand alone policy.

  • Effective claim settlements – In a claims scenario, the portfolio company will enjoy prompt and professional treatment of claims. Marsh's Claim Advocates will provide claims management assistance to help guide insureds through the claims process.

  • Power of the program – Dynamics of group participation of NEA portfolio companies can assist in the efficient handling of claims and will help achieve effective outcomes for the individual insureds.
