Hired automobile refers to vehicles that you rent on company business.

Non-owned automobile refers to those autos your company does not own, lease, hire, rent or borrow that are used in connection with your business. This includes autos owned by your employees or members of their households but only while used for company business. There is no physical damage coverage for these non-owned vehicles. The non-owned coverage responds to cover your company in the event of an accident. The employees' own personal insurance will respond to protect them.
